Sea master barra de navidad — Restaurant in Jalisco

The reviews of this place are mixed so now I add my experience. Flavorless fish. Overpriced for the area. Deceptive “two for one” happy hour. (Oh, the drinks you ordered are not included on this special...) Dirty plates. Waitress wearing a t-shirt that said F* You. Maybe she didn’t understand the meaning or maybe that was her true thought as a server. They have a sign showing Visa/MasterCard symbol. We tried to use card and were told the internet was down. I understand technology, but they should have let us know. Can’t imagine what we would have done if we were short on pesos. Only redeeming quality is the amazing view. Won’t go back there. Too many other good places in Barra de Navidad to waste money here. (I know Mexico is not the same as my home country and I don’t expect it to be. I've been visiting for 10-15 years, solely for the pescado relleno. It is to die for. It sets the bar for all rellenos. However.....this time, it came out totally raw. I received no apology. No problem....just redo it please. (Maybe they have a new cook?). They literally tossed my raw fish in the deep fryer threw it back on the plate, and served it to me, again. I declined the fish that was raw, then cold, then deep fried, then served, again. No management apology, no server apology (not severs fault of course). So, I chose to tip for the drinks (one each).....server smeared at me when accepting his tip! Seriously.....a place that used to be fantastic.....gone to hell. Management...

If you are in Barra de Navidad you gotta go to Sea Master When we entered the restaurant I was confused - I thought we were entering a classy tropical ocean side wedding reception BUT it was just the regular dinner service - wow! The sight was breath taking. We also got to enjoy the sun set from our seats while enjoying a very nice meal. Even though our server did not speak to us in English he was a great host- we could manage just fine with our broken beginner Spanish! What lovely service. Everyone working there was so happy to see us and thanked us for coming. Great first night introduction to this...
