Los Arcos — Hotel in Juárez

The location is very convenient, just 3 short blocks from the main road, Cabo San Lucas Marina and Puerto Paraiso Mall, where all the high-end shops and restaurants are. It is also surrounded by many, many good places to eat, and party from casual, cheap taco restaurants open all night, fine dining and plenty of hot night spots that you can walk to. ||||The hotel is simple but very clean and a good value for the money - approximately $45 for a single room and $55 for a double. The rooms are actually nicer than the big name brand hotel next door. The management and staff were all very helpful and friendly. ||||Most of the customers seemed to be Mexican business people who know that this is a good quality budget hotel in a good location. I would recommend it to anyone looking for just that - no frills (no pool or restaurant) but just a good value. I also found the laundry next door to be very convenient - we would drop off a large load of clothes and two hours later, for $5, it would be all clean, dry and neatly folded. Because of some scheduling conflicts we couldn’t get into our resort until the day after we arrived in Cabo. We went in search of a hotel close to where we were actually going to be staying. We stumbled upon Los Arcos. I went in, asked if they had any rooms, which they did. $850 pesos! They do not take MasterCard, so keep this in mind. They do take cash! Yes it is a bit outdated, but the rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly. They still use actual keys, but that is not a big deal. Easy walking distance to all...

This is a clean plce, and very close to the Marina and shopping mall, as well as the public transportation...it's a bare bones kind of accommodation, but the staff is friendly and it's very reasonable rates, only $50, Quite a change from 5 star places at Diamante and the Country Club we also stayed in, but it was quite an adventure eating and riding the busses with the local people, they were all wonderful to interact !
