L'Amour du Pain — Restaurant in Mérida

This bakery is easily some of the best pastries I've eaten in my life time, everything I've bought has been amazing. The reason for the three stars, is the woman who I assume is one of the owners is honestly so unpleasant. Every. Single. Time. It's a shame because I love supporting this place, and TBH I will most likely continue to do so, but I dread dealing with her. I've had so many negative experiences with her its hard to count. She simply shouldn't be working a front of house type position. I think its feedback this business should hear, as I'm okay with putting up with a grumpy person but not everyone is, and I'd hate them to lose more business...

A French bakery with handmade croissants, and breads, by Owner Francois -Xavier, and attended by his lovely wife Salela. The ingredients are fresh, and well sourced. Favorites...? The apple Carre with its wonderful balance of ingredients. The plain croissants, with a coffee is phenomenal, the the chocolate and banana carre is simply hedonistic. Take home a baguette for your cheese, and a loaf of their nutty bread for breakfast toast.

Their coffee is wonderful and the perfect accompaniment to the bake goods.

Bakery like no other in Merida. Owned by a French individual and his lovely partner who works up front. You always get quality, freshness and smiles. My kryptonite is a baguette and a crossait and boy do they deliver each time. The baqutte is fluffy and crispy made the proper way. The man is a magician when it comes to all other pastries.
