Chicharrón Norteño — Restaurant in Mexico City

Tried the chicharron norteño, I gotta say its the same style that on Culiacán and mazatlan, but the issue i had is that I think the cut on the pork is more fat than meat to get a bigger cut when selling it, on Sinaloa the chicharron that I tried there got a ratio of meat bigger than fat, on these the ratio of fat is bigger than meat or equal, good for some recipes, bad to eat it just like that. Overall it's good and it's a good option to try if you craving for some chicharron, from the north, had some tacos as well and for a quick meal they were good. I do recommend this place, get some chicharrón, make some salsa verde, mix them, put them on some tortillas and enjoy, or just skip the do it yourself part and but the chicharron en salsa...

En cuanto al servicio, muy amables, pero sin coordinación. Para mi gusto hay mucha gente trabajando y no conocen su carta, y se tardan mucho. Pedimos un paquete de 1/4 de barbacoa, 1/4 de chicharrón, frijoles con veneno, guacamole y 4 gorditas de azúcar. El chicharrón, de media tabla, no muy bueno. Nada que ver con lo que publican en Instagram. La barbacoa. Se esperaría algún sabor ahumado, al ser un lugar “norteño”, pero no. De sabor, tampoco algo excelente. Los frijoles nada que ver con los frijoles con veneno como los sirven en MTY. Primero me llevaron unos frijoles refritos comunes, reclame y me los regresaron con una cucharada de abono sin sabor… El guacamole, era un aguacate aplastado, literal, sin nada más (por lo menos le hubieran puesto un poco de limón y sal). Las gorditas buenas. Solo nos sirvieron 2 cuando el paquete incluía 4. La mesera aseguraba que incluía 2 hasta que le mostré su menú. Además pedimos algunos tacos de carne asada. La carne la marinan, según ellos en una preparación “de la casa”, y sabe a todo menos a carne. La carne si es buena (como lo presumen), se sazona con sal y ya!

Mi percepción es que no tiene nada que ver con lo que anuncian. Una vez que empezaron a obtener buenas reseñas y clientes,...

FUI AL LUGAR A COMPRAR (SUC POLANCO); SE ME OCURRIO PEDIR EL PAQUETE PARA DOS PERSONAS , YA QUE POR SER LA PRIMERA VEZ ESE PAQUETE SE ME HIZO REPRESENTATIVO DE LO QUE MANEJABAN, LA MAYORIA DE LOS ELEMENTOS DE ESTE PAQUETE BIEN: SALSAS, CHICHARRON NORTEÑO, FRIJOLES, GUACAMOLE, GORDITAS DULCES, PERO AL LLEGAR A LA FAMOSA BARBACOA NORTEÑA, NO NO QUE FIASCO UN FILETE FRIO FRIO SIN COCER CASI QUE LO SACARON DEL CONGELADOR LE MEDIO LE DIERON UNA PASADA RAPIDA EN LA SARTEN Y VAMONOS, COMO LA CARNE ERA DE UN CORTE GRUESO Y LO PICAN EN CUBOS PODIAS VER TODA LA CARNE BIEN CRUDA, LO TUBE QUE PARTIR EN TROZOS MAS CHICOS Y TERMINARLO DE COCER EN UNA SARTEN PARA PODER COMERLOS....
