The food was good, my gf enjoyed the caesar salad and her coffee, my arrachera was good too but a piece of meat was hard to cut (I reported this to the waiter), the natural orange juice not so good to be honest, It lacked the taste of fresh oranges (this needs to be improved, to use high quality oranges) other than that the place is cozy.
My stay was perfect untill the moment I paid and added around a 8% of tip additional to the account due these small details in my order, I was about to go when the waiter approached me and said: "Usually we wait a 10% tip from the bills due the service", I got surprised by this even after reporting these details in my food, what I did is to give 1 additional dollar to fulfill the 10% tip.
Tips should be proportional to the service received or please post a banner at the entrance with "10% will be demanded by our waiters so be ready".
Sorry for the harsh comment, but I guess you guys shouldn't be asking for tips, better include this in the bill from the start...
Read moreI was there, ordered one cup of coffee. They completely forgot about my order although I was standing right in front of them, asked them twice about my coffee. The guy in front of me told me to stand on the waiting line. I went and I stood. After 45 minutes, I went to the counter and asked them about my coffee. The other guy behind the counter made me coffee in 2 minutes.
There were at lease dozens of people just standing and doing nothing. Talking to each other and laughing! Absolutely doing nothing. And only two people making sandwiches. Bottom of the line is, there were people getting there sandwich order but rest of the people was waiting on their order. The lady who took my order was also very rude.
This place is not getting my business...
Read moreI trusted the name of Maison Kaiser since I had quite good experiences at other franchises in Japan and France. But this one in Mexico is a terrible one that changed my whole image of the brand and make me want to never come back. I was attracted for the Eclair Rumchata and since I was in Mexico I wanted to try something new for the experience. Despite the expensive price, about$4.5 the piece, inside the airport, the pastry didn't taste fresh, it was hard like it was in the shop for days. I was so upset for wasting my money on that. I'm sure a local pastry shop in Mexico has better quality and taste than what I ate. I'm glad I didn't order anything else.. do yourself a favor and eat...
