The cafe is beautiful designed , the ambiance is relaxing with jazz music in the background ( which is very nice 🥰) , lovely terrace, great details, coffe is good , service is very nice and polite but they can’t handle large quantities of clientele . When gets busy , unfortunately you get stuck in the huge line in which you have to wait at least half and hour to be served a cup of coffee :((( ( it is self service no waiters . Today is Sunday, and if you come around lunch time the line is unbelievable long .. this is a coffee shop not a supermarket cashier to check out 🥺..I do not know how it is during the week days , but today ón Sunday you get stuck in the terrible line…Hopefully they will fix that issue , because it is not nice to wait in such a nice designed place, in the huge line for for cup of coffee in such a long time 😩.. would be better to have waiters service, so you do not have to be stuck in line , instead it is better to wait at the table if so 🥺… 🙏🏻 also would be nice to have healthy food options, not some sponge bread sandwiches…There is no one to guard the entrance, to protect customers from street beggars , which bother you every ...

It’s soooo amazing! This place is like stepping into a super trendy coffee straight out of Seoul. The vibe is just perfect—spacious, minimalist, and those huge windows let in sooo much natural light. It’s the ideal spot for working or just chilling with a good book. The coffee? It’s to die for! They have beans from all over the world—Colombia, Guatemala, Ethiopia, you name it. And if you’re into trying something different, their menu has some really unique drinks. I tried the Seun Dalgona Latte and it was sooo incredible. They also have non-caffeinated options like the Real Fresa Latte and the Uji Matcha Latte, which are just as delicious. What really sets Monarch Haus apart is their attention to detail. They have this Coffee Lab where they hand-select and roast their beans to absolute perfection. And don’t even get me started on their pastries—they’re sooo good! Everything is made with high-quality ingredients, and you can totally taste the difference. If you’re ever in Polanco, you absolutely have to check it out. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy some fantastic coffee, and maybe even get...

A luxurious, over-the-top café that recently opened in Polanco. From the outside, you can easily tell this café is massive. It reminded me of some of the grand cafés in Asia. Walking up to the menu board and seeing the selection of pastries, it really gives off that vibe.

There is a great variety of coffee and non-coffee options, which is a blessing. I settled on a matcha latte, which I was told is prepared with a mix of two matchas and honey. It did take a bit of a wait to get my matcha from the front counter, but after the first sip, it was well worth it. The matcha was delicious, not overly sweet, and just a delight.

The staff were all very helpful and attentive, answering any questions I had. Throughout my visit, I couldn’t help but appreciate the overall aesthetic and feel of the café. It even has a second floor, though I didn’t explore what was up there. Everything was a delight, even the music.

I had an amazing time and will definitely be back to try the pastries on display and explore more of the drink options. This is a grand statement café and truly a lovely place to spend some time...

Really nice, almost over the top space with specialty coffee and baked goods. The place is really something to behold, although I am not a fan of the TV screen menus which give it a weird fast food, super corporate energy. They make a big deal about classifying their coffees by how... Special.. They are, but has little to no data for actual coffee enthusiasts on the screens (altitude, roast date, process, etc). Served in dainty china. It's nice, and well prepared, but a bit faux-enthusiast. The baked goods are pretty good, but my god do they waste a lot of plastic clamshell packaging. Everything is individually packaged which is extremely un-sustainable, and unnecessary for on premise eating. A fun experience, but the real specialty shops in the area are more my speed.
