I would be hard pushed to say anything good about this place (I will give them props for good onion bajis I guess, but that’s it.) Everything was totally stone cold, the curry was like no curry I have ever tasted before and the Nan bread was completely tasteless and like chewy cardboard. Oh, best of all?!! They actually had the nerve to charge me for the dessert I ordered (Kulfi Almendra) which has since been removed from the menu—presumably because the one inch high plastic sauce dipping pot they served it in must have depleted their entire stock. (I wish I could post a photo of the dessert with this review, but can’t so I posted a photo separately) It’s hilarious…..literally the exact same size as a plastic chicken dipper sauce container, no word of a lie. (Oh and it was so revolting I had to spit it out and throw it away). Anybody giving this place positive reviews is either being paid to do so, has never eaten proper or at least semi-decent Indian food ever before in their life, has had their taste buds removed and eyes gauged out, or is a total menace to society and should be locked away immediately. Can’t stress...
Read moreI'll start with the positive. The strawberry lassi blended real strawberries, and the vegetable samosa was actually filled with vegetables (as opposed to a bunch of potato.) My friend and I asked the waiter for his recommendation, and the Rogan Josh lamb didn't disappoint. Now for the negative. They have a wide-screen TV playing youtube videos of Indian music. Which could be cool, but they don't seem to be very intentional about which clips they choose. We sat through a grainy video of a live concert. Then the guy behind the bar started watching another show on his I-pad, so the dissonance between the two videos was a little frustrating. The naan was really flat and tasted meh. The Saag Paneer tasted sour, and I think it might have been the cause for some unpleasantness in the bathroom my friend and I suffered...
Read moreVisited this restaurant for dinner with great expectations mainly due to the reviews but the overall experience was disappointing mainly because of taste of food. Had ordered -
Mix veg pakora - which was of only onions. Vegetables were missing.
Chicken Tikka kebab - instead of kebab a roll was served which minuscule of chicken in it. Nit worth at all.
Butter chicken - what they served was not even close to actual butter chicken in taste. The cook needs to learn the dish.
Nan - it was soft & fresh. Good.
Lamb biryani - it was just a rice tiered with lamb pieces. It did not taste like biryani at all.
Overall the taste of dishes was not even close how they actually taste. Looks like they need a good chef.
