Palominos — Restaurant in Mexico City

If you want decent food at the price of being pestered by the waiting staff, this is the place to go. Honestly the food is good and for a reasonable price; however (and this is a BIG however), expect to be heavily pressured by the waiters into ordering drinks, entrées or otherwise food that you do not want.

More than five times did the waiters insist that we order more (note, more than three waiters went to our table to pressure us into ordering more food), and got visibly irrated and mean when we refused to order anything else.

Finally when the bill came, we still complied with a 10% tip (considering the uncomfortable service), to which the server rudely insisted that we give 15%.

Overall, despite the good food, we left with a sour taste torwards the overall experience due to the poor service that tainted our whole outing. Would not recommend unless you are fine with lackluster and...
