La Europea Prado Norte — Local services in Mexico City

The service is fantastic. A staff member, regrettably I forgot his name, recommended two wines that were a big hit at a small gathering a couple of months back. We liked the wines so much we returned yesterday to buy more of the same wines, six each, for our personal enjoyment. Unfortunately, the cork of the first bottle we opened broke and crumbled. I'm guessing the bottle was stored vertically for too long and the cork lost it's hydration and flexibility. After checking the other bottles it became apparent that the bottles are also from different years. In hindsight, we should of checked the bottles in the boxes when the employees brought them to the cashier. The experience from the first visit was a five star but considering our latest experience we have to drop our rating.
