Privada de Horacio 18 Residences — Hotel in Mexico City

Never in my life , have I been so disgusted by a hotel in my entire life .

upon Arrival we were greated by a gentleman to help us check in who promptly warned my Partner that her Make up" better not rub of on the pillow cases as we will be liable to pay " forst of all the pillow cases were disgusting already .

Next note worthy mention is the smell a mixture of something dead and a old mould . To make it to our room we had to use an Elevator which one feels like could drop at any moment .

The bed could win an award I must admit for how uncomfortable it was and it had bed bugs , the sheets were full of cigarette burns ..

The short few hours we spent there we Encountered atleast 5 cockroaches

The towels use to be white and are now some form of off grey difficult to explain

Then they over charged us Because apparently they Charge asif the US dollar is 1usd = 19.50mxn which is not correct over charged by about $500 pesos for our 3 day stay ...

My self and my Parnter could not spend one night in this place we left after a few hours and found a different hotel .

I would not recommend this hotel and Frankly I would rather try my luck sleeping...

It's a FRAUD !!! Positive comments cannot be true !

Stay was confirmed from January 24 to January 31. I left on january 25 because establishment did not respect or provided contracted services. Due to this situation I request the refund of 4 nights, I'm still waiting for it and Booking.com doesn't seem to care. Main issues : • Extremely poor maintenance • First room WC did not have a toilet seat • Cleaning of the room was deficient • Furniture was dirty and in bad conditions • Stains in the walls • No glasses • No dishes • No kitchen cutlery • No pans • No hangers • No blankets in bed, just a bed cover • Old and dirty curtains and smaller than windows

I honestly suggest to avoid this non reliable...

The first room was cold and the bathroom really cold because there is no heat and faulty window let in the 8-9 degree C air every night and it didn't have hot water or the fridge, chairs or cookware that had be brought from other apts after I complained. Management offered an extra blanket. A complaint to Expedia got me a new room slightly better but still cold---I had to wear a heavy jacket all the time and my hands were still cold. The neighborhood was full of hi-rise apts and offices but there was a surprising lack of Restaurants and didn't see a single bar. We had to walk 6 or 7 blocks just to get to a few sit down places.
