Story time!

During my stay in Mexico City— which has been quite lengthy at this point. I haven’t been eating well or at all… mostly because food isn’t my priority also because I simply have not been proactive about it. I really didn’t think there would be good vegan options (things I would like.)

Today I was particularly hungry— after finding out the mercado was closed, I impulsively did a vegan restaurant search… found the closest place— closing was in an hour.

I ordered a fruit/salad, smoothie & a protein burger. I’m honestly so upset with myself for not finding this place sooner— almost upset I found it because of how late in my trip I discovered it— especially considering it’s 6 minutes from where I’m staying.

I had the fruit/salad there… can I just say… I was extremely nutrition deprived, but I was floored. The portion was excellent & it was SOOO. GOOD. Again, as I’m eating, I’m mad at myself for not knowing about this place sooner/ plotting when I can come next (hopefully for every meal.)

I took my protein smoothie, burger/fries to go. Also excellent.

Before I left I let the kitchen staff know how impressed I was & they all cheered (so cute), I was thrilled to tell them I’d be back tomorrow but most places are closed in the city tomorrow for a holiday… I was bummed… but will be back 1 day before I leave… I’ll be thinking about this place for a long time. & would consider coming to CDMX for this place alone.

Mmmm. I feel fulfilled. & grateful. Also! Plus was that not only were the servers so extremely friendly & helpful, but everyone was obviously young people doing great work.

My best experience in CDMX.

To be noted, takeout packaging has an added cost (not huge, but I support it, especially if it deters people from getting takeout, helping the enviro/ not be wasteful.) Wifi...

This restaurant has really good and reasonably priced vegan food and a cool atmosphere, but consistently poor service. I ordered a medium-sized cake from here once and they mistakenly told the person who makes them that it was supposed to be a large one. Then, on the day I was supposed to pick it up, they told me of their mistake and asked me to pay for the large one. Incompetence isn't a good reason to ask someone to pay you extra money, so I refused, but the cake that I needed for that day was conspicuously missing from my event because the people here tried and failed to fulfill a simple order. I've gotten poor service from the waitstaff here more than once as well. Thinking back to my experiences at this place, the only times I've really left very satisfied were on days when I ordered alcohol with my food, and likely wouldn't have scrutinized things as closely. If this restaurant figures out a way to operate reasonably efficiently, I'll eat there all the time, but as is, I'd rather...

so glad i chose this veggie restaurant in the coyoacán area. prices are very cheap and the presentation is so nice. i got a double burger and three tacos and all were tasty, especially the burger. the tacos were a little bland but better than others i’ve tried in cdmx.

i agree though the service is a bit slow considering the restaurant wasn’t packed and there are like 4 ladies in the kitchen. also the waitress should be a bit more knowledgeable on the menu...

This restaurant is truly a paradise if you’re vegan or not. As a vegan I’m not used to so many choices and I wanted to try everything! I had the lunch box package with the ‘ham’ sandwich option and also added an extra fresh juice. Amazing people here and their food is wonderful in a tranquil beautiful space. Returning here for sure with friends next time to try more options on their menu. Highly recommended!

This place is perfect if you're looking for vegan food. The atmosphere itself goes with the energy and the decoration, the music is really nice, also this place has its own store and you can find a lot of cool products. The staff are all very kind people, people from the kitchen and the waiter always smiling and caring about customer service at all time. Another great thing is that is PET FRIENDLY!!!! 🐶

This is a cute restaurant with good service. The tofu was delicious! The only reason it's 4 stars and not five it's because I only got 3 pieces of tofu with my salad. It was basically a whole lettuce with shredded carrots and a bit of tofu. I just ate the tofu and nopal. I was hungry within 2 hours. Paying $110 pesos for mostly lettuce is not worth it. And the orange soda wasn't great.
