Valentina Cantina Fina — Restaurant in Michoacán

This restaurant is across the street from my hotel and is part of a very large very nice mall called Las Americas.i decode to give it a try. Very well decorated and the wine liquor and champagne selection was out of this world. Unfortunately I was in the mood for a special cut of Beef called Pecahna and they were out on a 600pm Saturday evening. This was very disappointing. So I decided to have a different steak and they were also out of rice... I settled on a cheesecake that was shared with 3 other friends.....cheesecake was delicious. Server was ok. I would return in the Hope to taste the their pecahna and rice. I cant make a good or bad recommendation for this place. Better...

Esperaba más de este restaurante que por recomendaciones y apariencia pensaba que era buena opción para disfrutar de una buena cena. Es parte del grupo MRL en Morelia. Se recomienda siempre reservar y llegar a la hora, porque el restaurante siempre suele estar lleno. Ese día había partido así que estaba a full. Por ende, el servicio fue un poco lento pero se entiende. El costo es de aprox 500 por persona, algo intermedio. Tienen platillos accesibles y también cortes de carne caros. De entrada pedimos unas papas que estaban muy buenas 10/10. Como plato fuerte fue pasta y un corte de carne que estaban súper insípidos. Horrible la comida. Terminamos decepcionados de lo “x” que estaban los platillos. Lo único decente fueron los camarones que acompañaban la pasta. Nada que ver por ejemplo con Lucio que es un restaurante que también es del mismo grupo de empresa y que se encuentra al lado de Valentina. Por último, la elección de cóctel no fue tampoco buena: sabía a jarabe para tos. En resumen, yo no volvería a considerarlo para ir a cenar. Aparte el servicio de valet es súper tedioso por todos los carros que estacionan afuera del restaurante (bloquean el carril derecho de ambos sentidos para poder estacionar ahí los carros) y todos los que llegan en doble fila impidiendo que avancen los carros en el único carril que...

Nice atmosphere and food, but the waiter told me the Agua de Coco was “fresco” but it came out in a cardboard bottle straight from a supermarket.
