No place to park The waiter is always busy in the kitchen or some where behind so the service is basically non existent. WHEN he’s not behind and you have a chance to ask something to bring, be sure it will be ignored. The ingredients were expired!!! Before ordering salads I asked if the lettuce and veggie for the salad were fresh from today and the waiter said yes. Big surprise when he brought expired salad. The lettuce we buy and keep in the fridge at home for 1 whole week, I finished yesterday at home, looked 10x better than their so called “todays fresh” salad they served us, with rotten mushrooms which they had the nerve to serve raw. You can only serve raw champions when they’re fresh and not when they completely changed their colour because they’re expired long time ago. Garbanzo “omelet” is a cheap, fast and lazy imitation of smashed garbanzo omelet. Instead of smashed garbanzo, it’s a pancake made from garbanzo flower. It’s the second time a vegan restaurant served us this scam dish and called it an omelet. The moment they served us this dish we should have know that their food would be not much promising. There was hair on the potatoes ( see the picture). What a disgusting toilet!
Overal it was a huge disappointment. There’re barely any vegan restaurants in the area but when you eat in this kind of places you wish you just ate at home😑. What a scam. We’ll...
Read moreI wanted to give this place more stars.
First, the bad: the staff could use more training or direction as the waitress brings out the dishes one at a time before drinks. Maybe its because I'm from the U.S but the drinks (no water served at all - maybe its a Mexican thing?) came out way after the dishes were served. The sides were also served at random times. It seems they serve the plates as soon as they are done, which disrupts the flow of the meal.
The good: the food is good and the entire menu is vegan! Its very hard to find vegan food in Mexico. As of this review, I've eaten there twice. Have had the burrito and it was great. My date had the tropical pizza, and stated it was ok "not impressed with it". Drinks were chocolate smoothie and that was also "ok, but watered down" and I had the pina colada and that was tasty. The second time around was better food: Ordered the cinamon omelets and waffles. The drinks were strawberry soy and platano shakes. The omelets had a variety of veggies (the potatoes could be cooked more) and the waffles were nice and fluffy with good cream but no syrup. The strawberry shake was the best beverage we had both times and the platano shake was "good".
TL;DR - decent vegan food that needs...
Read moreThe menu here looks really good, and we wish we had the chance to come back and try some items, but on this particular visit we were only here for drinks and desserts.
The lemon cake was light and fluffy and had good flavor. The chocolate cake was very dense and sticky. The "pinguino" chocolate cupcake was a bit dry and lacked sufficient filling. The apple pie was very good. The chocolate-covered ice cream cones were amazing!!!! The best of all the desserts!
In terms of drinks, the carrot juice we ordered was very disappointing as it was blended, full of foam, and really watered down. Completely not what is expected for a carrot juice, which should be just juiced carrots.
The service was "ok". Not bad, not great.
The location of the restaurant is in a pleasant little plaza off of a main street, and there are a few tables inside and...
