We popped in for an early low key dinner right before closing time. The Torta we ordered were Al Pastor and Panella (Cheese) both came with Avocado, tomato and lettuce. We shared a modest size plate of fries that appeared to be fresh cut and were absolutely delicious.
They were closing (7 pm the evening we went) very close to the time we ordered so the fries got forgotten however this is Mexico. A polite word to the server and they came right away with an apology. It extended our card game and made the evening all that more enjoyable to extend the meal a bit.
I found the Al Pastor delicious and it included some pineapple which seems traditional. The venue has nice comfortable chairs and table enough space for us to play our evening card game and enjoy watching the passers by.
Sorry no photos but the other reviews do justice to the food photos. The sandwiches range from medium to quite large.

As soon as they came out I flipped Pastor over and ate it with the jalapeños that were provided, yum~. Don’t wait too long without flipping it over because the soft delicious bun juiced by the sauce will soon break up the bun. After that delicious tortas, the Milanese de pollo seemed a little dry but still good. My wife (yes, we split the tortas) said she liked the pollo better especially with the chipotle sauce. Update! at this point ive tried every thing on their menu and they are all good! everything! Ive never been to a small resturant like El Metro with this many food options and all being good. even the guacamole is at a different level. my wife and I have been eating 1-2 meals a day here for this past week.
