Che Gaucho — Restaurant in Oaxaca

Absolutely fantastic. The food was next level delicious. I ordered half a salad with a chicken breast and could not finish it. The bananas Singapore (flambe) was done table side beautifully, no burnt sugar or leftover crystals. The after dinner coffee was amazing, I've had the brand before and wasn't this impressed so it must be home they prepare it. The waiter was attentive but not hovering. It is expensive, not a routine family dinner place, but fabulous for a date or just a treat...

El Che Gaucho es garantía si de cortes de carne se trata, he tenido la oportunidad de visitarlo algunas ocasiones y siempre he salido literal con el estomago lleno. Hoy no fue la excepción, estuvimos en el privado para seis personas y nos la pasamos muy bien, en cuanto el lugar está muy bien adecuado, el servicio excelente, los meseros se portaron muy atentos aunque en realidad no había mucha gente, sin embargo nunca he tenido una mala experiencia al respecto. En cuanto a la comida pedimos de entrada unas papas fritas super ricas, muy buena porción para comenzar, además pedimos la parrillada que fue suficiente incluso para cuatro personas, adicionalmente pedimos una chistorra que salió sobrando de lo basta que era, el café muy rico, quizá lo único que podría sugerir es que la ensalada tiende a ser un poco ordinaria para el nivel de restaurante, creo que podrían mejorarla en hacerla más gourmet utilizando lechugas e ingredientes más sofisticados creo que definitivamente eso haría aún más la diferencia. En general creo que es un excelente lugar para comer o cenar, sin duda es un lugar referente en la zona norte...

Great service and atmosphere. Potatoes and salad, bread and chimi churi were good, steak was fair (sent back as inside was cold, a sign of grilling while frozen). Returned same steaks refired, not tender; ribeye and fillet. Bottle of wine was good, cab from Chile. Price, well compared to dollar, good... compared to peso, steaks did not maintain...
