Worth a look. An impressive structure for what appears to be a small and long-disused elevated channel. Presumably it fed or was intended to feed a fountain of some sort downhill, but the end is now just abutted with concrete. There are remnants of it continuing across the road, what now looks like an elevated footpath, but I didn't folloele it. Cool neighborhood, but tourism value marred by gated communities on both sides of the "river" (stream) limiting access. I am guessing the river was once much larger, but water is being diverted upstream for other uses. Probably still impressive in a good thunderstorm, but even then it appears the river doesn't fill the channel constructed for it. Also repeated graffiti vandalism marring pretty much everything, which is periodically removed, but has left some permanent scars. Hey jerks! News flash: You are not Banksy. Graffiti isn't art. En el barrio de Xochimilco la gente toma muy enserio su privacidad y la de sus callejuelas y la Plaza de la Cruz de Piedra, así que por todos lados verás letreros que dicen:"No hacer sesiones fotográficas o filmaciones".
