La Flamita Mixte is one of my top 3 favorite taco places in Oaxaca. I go to both locations. Love to eat while I watch them build an entire al Pastor meat on the spit (trompo). La Flamita has the largest Trompo's i've seen! Then watching them slice the meat and flip a small pieces of pineapple from the top of the trompo right onto the plate shows their experience. I find the food here filling and very good and always enjoy eating here. "Queso Fundido con Chorizo" with the gooey cheese and tasty Chorizo is a favorite of mine. Hoy me llevé una decepción aquí. Ya tiene tiempo que voy a este lugar para comer sus tacos desde que estaban a $25 pesos la orden al pastor ya que ahora están a $35 pero ese no es el problema, es lo de menos pagar hasta $50 por que la verdad están ricos. El problema fue que hoy fui con mis amigos como a las 11 de la mañana a comer, la carne pues era de la que les sobró en la noche por que te das cuenta cuando es bajada del trompo y a esa hora apenas la estaban colocando en el trompo, aún así sabía bien. Cuando fue el momento de cobrar lo llamamos al chico y nos dijo el total que fue $373 (aunque no lo escuchaba) y le dijimos que por separado, y dijo Que ya no era así, que se pagaba todo junto pero bueno no nos dió nota, ni ticket ni algo que nos diera el detalle de cuanto estábamos pagando por la comida, terminamos sumando las cosas con los precios del cartel y preguntando precios de las bebidas y ya lo dividimos nosotros mismos y ya pagamos. Todavía se enojó cuando no le Di completo por que no escuché bien el total igual el por que habla muy bajito. This, to me, in my humble opinion, is the best Tacos al Pastor I've had. We were fortunate enough to find this place in '18 and can not leave without a trip or two or 4 !!!
Also, over the years we've have had quite few items off the menu and everything has been amazing. Love going here!!!
