El Bicho La Punta — Restaurant in Oaxaca

Staff is super nice and constantly making sure everything is ok while you are at El Bicho. We had the BBQ ribs and a fish hamburger accompanied by some guacamole, and artisanal beer from Colima (which was really really good, we actually bought a couple of bottles to go). Overall se food was good but nothing out of this world.

The spot by the beach is super nice at nighttime; the lighting, music and sound of waves for dinner and a couple of drinks is very nice.

The food, in my taste is overpriced for what was served, but it’s what you’d expect considering that it probably caters mostly to foreigners, and also considering the location away from the main buddy streets of Punta and...

We were staying at an airbnb close by. I loved the name El Bicho. We decided to go into La Punta to dine. When we arrived back to our stay we heard the house music and was very intrigued. So we followed the beat and bam! What a sweet spot! We haven't eaten here but plan to before we leave in a couple days. We did have a drink and it was more expensive than other places but the atmosphere on the beach and the music to chill, and dance, away from the hustle of town. Very nice discovery. Beautiful place quiet and chill. The music is a nice Spanish lounge style playlist and finally not a US repetitive sounds you can hear at any corner and you already know by heart ;) The place is very comfy, big umbrellas, bed and thick matrix were very welcome. Food and beverages are fresh and very well prepared. The service was very friendly and efficient. They have a different menu morning/ afternoon.
