Unfortunately I walked by this place and it kind of ruined my day. After recently becoming vegan, I was intrigued by vegan ice cream, and the owner said hello to me. We ended up conversing, and when I asked if he was vegan himself, he said “No! I’m just a businessman. I love my steaks and ribs”. He was extremely misinformed about the lifestyle of veganism, had no idea the negative impacts of animal agriculture, talked to me like I was a child in a condescending and rude manner, and just seems kind of like a phony. Great little hidden gem for good All American comfort food. Yes they have yummy ice cream but their hamburgers are the best in town. Thick real beef patties plus bacon, red onions, lettus and tomatoes. They also have chicken wings, ribs, meatballs, ect. Do not let the name confuse you. Great place for American comfort food. Yummy soft serve ice cream and great local brew coffee with great service by owners Cèsar and Michael. We have been there 3 times this week. Started with a cone.
