Kazoku Ramen — Restaurant in Oaxaca

The food wasn't that bad to be honest. The chef seemed very competent in his craft. But I will probably never forget the day I visited this place for the first and last time on my birthday in October 2023 and I felt I was too kind with my rating back then so I decided to drop it further in a change of heart and epiphany phase now that I'm binge reviewing other bad food places that left a very bad taste in my mouth figuratively speaking. This one goes out to the lady who I feel disrespected me with her entitled attitude and the bad odor of humidity emanating from her clothing while trying to gaslight (manipulate me) me as a liar as if I was making stuff up when my smelling sense is pretty accurate while at the same time making me feel ashamed in front of my family. No tengo duda de que es el mejor ramen de Oaxaca. Kazoku Ramen es un lugar lindo, abierto, limpio tanto en las áreas de comedor como en sus sanitarios, el ambiente es muy agradable, su ubicación es inmejorable y el mobiliario es correcto. La atención del chef y de todo el personal es muy amable y rápida, los tiempos de espera son muy cortos. La carta es ajustada sin ser escueta y los precios que maneja me parecen correctos. A lo que vinimos: la comida es excelente. El ramen Tonkotsu grande es delicioso, de buena porción, fideos bien logrados, tenía presente el alga nori, faltó el Naruto, huevito hervido correcto, bien servido y presentado, el caldo es muy rico, si no estás acostumbrado te podría saber salado pero así debe ser, su chashu me parece un poco delgado, me gustaría que lo rebanaran más grueso pero el sabor es delicioso, me habría gustado que estuviera más caliente. 9/10 El ramen Kazoku chico, bien, de sabor más tímido, llevaba 2 rebanadas de chashu no tan delgado, con un poco de salsa de soya y un toque de salsa macha mejoró bastante. 8/10 Me gustó mucho que no se inventan nada, me dieron los cubiertos como debe ser: palillos y cuchara para el caldo, excelente. Antes de comer el ramen pedí un Tonkatsu de cerdo muy rico, un poquito duro pero súper crujiente que con su salsita y acompañada de una buena cerveza fue todo un lujo. Gran entrada que me quitó el hambre pero me dejó espacio para el ramen. 10/10 Calpis de mango, que decir, delicioso, refrescante, no muy dulce, porción generosa. 10/10 Helado tempura, estaba rico pero no me pareció un tempura como tal ya que no estaba crujiente, más bien parecía un helado con pan jaja, aún así no duden en pedirlo 8/10. Best meal I've had in Oaxaca! I got the tonkotsu ramen and the broth was clean, flavorful and deep. The meat was very tender and the vegetable toppings were fresh and crisp.
