La Verduzca Vegetropical — Restaurant in Oaxaca

La Verduzca served us Lentil Burgers at the Santa Cruz Saturday Market. LOVE it! Wow, what incredible flavour. Every bite had us humming, mmmmm. The Pineapple sauce with a tiny kick of habanero was the perfect addition. Heated lentil pattie, green sauce, avocado, onion, lettuce, tomato on a heated bun.....with the pineapple sauce. So delicious. Later that week, we hunted down their restaurant and had the daily special. YUM! We continued having the Lentil Burger every Saturday and again at their restaurant. We also loved the Hibiscus juice and coffee. The Peanut Moka coffee is a delightful treat. Something different and oh so good. We love the food, the owners, cooks, the calm surroundings at the restaurant, music, service,...........all of it! Rodrigo and Poppy have created a lovely, relaxing, delicious experience for us all. We hope you will give them a try. Even if a vegetarian meal is not 'your thing,' we know you will LOVE IT. Our friend loved the Lentil Burger so much, he ate 2! This place is amazing!! If you’re craving delectable chilaquiles or some hot cakes come here! They serve hot cakes along with delicious and fresh seasonal fruit and home made mango marmalade and peanut butter, the chilaquiles are accompanied by black beans two eggs your style and delicious multigrain toast. Don’t even get me started on their drinks, their coffee is amazing but don’t skip out on their iced tea! If you’re in search of an affordable, healthy, delicious meal and excellent customer service this is your place! Definitely coming back...

They serve Vegan/Vegetarian. We had salad and lentils the first time I went there. I can't remember the smoothie I had but it was just really flavourful.

The 2nd time, I had the Verde smoothie - 5stars for that. Matcha latte and pancake. Everything was just delicious.

The service was also great. The owner was very friendly and entertaining. He offered us the meal of the day although they were about to close, he still welcomed us.

Very relaxing place. I'd still come back here til we go back to...
