I love this restaurant…on a hot day, you can eat out on the rooftop with a nice refreshing breeze and not have to be inside. And this was the reason I chose to dine here tonight.

They have a pretty good selection of items you can order, pastas burgers, pizza, salads, tacos, and ceviche.

Tonight I had a Caesar salad and asked for carne asada instead of chicken breast. I also ordered a side of the steamed vegetables. I’ve had these before, and I must say they are some of the very best vegetables I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant. My plate of vegetables consisted of broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, carrots, and onion. they are always cooked to perfection and delicately seasoned. The Caesar salad was good, and quite a good size. it’s different than what you might expect in a restaurant in United States. The salad dressing was a slightly different flavor and consistency than what you would expect to be a Caesar salad dressing. It still was very tasty. They bring the salad to you with the dressing separate from the salad.

The Meseros were quite attentive and polite. It wasn’t very busy during my visit there most likely because it was early afternoon and before the dinner crowd. I enjoyed my meal which only put me out of pocket 200 pesos. I would recommend this...

We ate there on 2/15/2020. Seven people and when the entrees were served my wife's did not come. She told us to start eating which we did begrudgingly. Everyone at the table kept asking where her food was.and we were all told "One momento". After everyone had finished eating I finally got up and went into the cooking area where I found the manager and asked him the same question and I received the same answer. This manager needs to find a new line of work. After the table was cleared of plates my wife was served a plate of cold food. This was over 2 hours after we had ordered. DO NOT GO THERE!!! SERVICE IS HORRID!!!!! And then everyone in the restaurant becomes STUPID!!. QUOTE .. "Sorry don't understand English" I hope lots of English speaking people read this and don't visit your...

Was really looking forward to this place after seeing beautiful pics online and reading all the positive reviews. Unfortunately the experience was a complete letdown. The food looked gorgeous but just didn’t taste like anything at all. Additionally, our waiter seemed to have been very confused and messed up the order — I ordered seared tuna and shrimp pastry rolls and instead he brought tuna pastry rolls and never put in the seared tuna order. When I told him about it, he awkwardly told me “oh maybe it’s ok for you to just have tuna pastry rolls? Sorry” I didn’t feel like having anything else there afterwards. The only good thing about the place was that the pasta was kept hot as we ate it, so...

A "must do" while in Huatulco! Our wonderful tour guide, Alfonso Gabriel from Best Huatulco Tours took us to La Chicatana for dinner after a shopping and Mezcal tasting evening. I wish we went here to this beautiful restaurant at the beginning of our vacation, because we would have come here more:) Everyone enjoyed something different, from local cuisine to honestly, the best pizza we have ever had! Presentation was awesome, food was so delicious and the view was stunning!! I can't thank them enough for inviting us to share in the tasting of the Chicatana Ants...an experience we will never forget! Looking forward to coming back to try the amazing French toast for breakfast!
