Las Margaritas — Restaurant in Oaxaca

The food was okay and it’s just my opinion. It was recommended to us by a local but just didn’t get that vibe. The waitress (Flo?) who came out to assist because of our lack of Spanish. She was awesome. Asked about tacos but was told to order a pescado fillet and then create some which I don’t find interesting. The wife didn’t have many options so she got the guacamole with chips. Unfortunately the brick floors were being power washed while we were there, so throughout the meal, it was very loud, water running all over and the smell of soap, kind of ruined it. 3 of us ate, but the meals came out 1 at a time with more than a few minutes in-between, had to ask numerous times for items and service, got the eye roll a few times...not fun for anyone. What I like about this place is how attentive they are here. If what you want isn't on the menu they'll see if'n they can make it for you anyway. Even if they have to go out and get any missing ingredients. Or a tea you prefer. Vegetables instead of rice and beans? No problem. They aim to please. 😏 Live music on Sundays. It's inside a kind of courtyard away from traffic noise. Nice atmosphere. And not too expensive. Nice, nice, very nice. ...
