We decided to give this place a try after reading several reviews, on a Sunday evening and seated ourselves up one level. The menu had several options, we opted for the Beef rib & the Fish taco’s. Service was quick and accompanied by the trinity of mild, medium, and slightly pungent (spicier) sqeezy bottled sauces. Both, the Beef rib taco’s and the Fish taco’s were quite basic and flavourless. The meat was chewy, and unseasoned & the corn tortillas, were crumbly and fell apart during the plate to mouth transfer. Yup, tried to introduce the meat to the sauces and the chopped onions, and they just didn’t feel like mingling. The Fish taco’s, were unappetizing, and the server informed us that the fish was dredged through flour and then fried. Once again we tried the sauce combinations and they all failed. The fish were obviously tired, and so were we. On the plus side, the Taco’s for 2 persons, a regular Corona & a bottle of Coke came to a very affordable $275.00 Peso’s. Maybe it was the head chef’s day off, and the rest of the crew were feeling a bit bleah…it showed, we understand, and we hope the owners share our disappointment. No hard feelings buddy.

Basic but great taco place on the corner open from 5PM until 11:30PM. Food tastes good, everything is made fresh. Tortillas are made on site (yum!) Service is very fast. We were there a couple of times during our stay in Huatulco and even when it was busy we didn’t have to wait long for food. Suadero tacos are a must try. Gets very busy at night but there is plenty of space on the second floor as well. However it can get stuffy and there is no A/C. Locals and tourists go there. English menu available. Many meat options. However limited vegetarian options but they have some. (I posted the menu)

Los Parados on Calle Carizal in La Crucecita is hands down the best tacos we have ever eaten. If you are looking for an authentic Mexican taco experience this is it. The restaurant is not fancy by any means but the flavours and aromas are mouth watering. Usually eat here once or twice during a vacation to Huatulco. Highly recommend the tacos arrachera con queso and the costillo (short rib). The restaurant is inexpensive and always filled with locals looking for a delicious meal. The best tacos anywhere around!
