Mamma Mia Huatulco — Restaurant in Oaxaca

Food was to die for, both the bruschetta and the chorizo on Penne was incredible.

The carajillo was far better than expected as I was trying it for the first time try. Would recommend to coffee lovers, similar to an espresso martini but less sharp which for me is preferred. Ordering this on happy hour and getting 2 for 1 made it even more pleasant.

Floor service appeared a bit slower than expected but granted it got busy shortly after we showed up during happy hour, so it took a long minute to put our order in or pay our bill. Regardless of that the waiters were very polite, professional and for those who have difficulties with Spanish, their English was excellent.

The kitchen staff were also on their A game and as mentioned the food was delicious as it came out fast.

We had stopped going in the past, but we started going again because the new owners, Gio and David, are fabulous and going through a great renovation of the place and the menu. Good playlist, good live music, more and more plants, and a real thin dove pizza collection ! And good drinks too !

Did diners and take away, tried the pizzas, the salads, the lasagna, and the bruschettas, and loved it all so far.

Four of us had dinner in the restaurant one night and the food was excellent. Three of us had pizza from the wood-fired oven and the fourth had a burger. Also had the focaccia as an appetizer and loved it. We had great service and the prices were very reasonable. We liked everything so much we ordered pizza delivery a few nights later on our last night before we flew out. Great job guys! Looking forward to coming back on...
