Restaurante Galería — Restaurant in Oaxaca

Great little restaurant serving classic Mexican breakfast dishes at pretty reasonable price. I ordered the mollettes, which is a toasted white roll with refried beans, melted cheese, and avocado on top. It was light and satisfying and came with a tasty pico de gallo, a side of fresh fruit, and a cup of coffee all for $90 pesos. My partner had Huevos rancheros that were also pretty good.

Their proximity to the Chedraui and the main road makes it also a very convenient place for a quick breakfast before heading out...

I don't understand all the 5 star reviews. They must be fake because the business is only about 1 month old, recently changed ownership and new menu. The manager and staff don't have much of a clue how to operate a restaurant and provide decent service. I can say the same for the former operators and can believe why they failed. Unfortunately I believe the current operator is not destined for success. Hope I'm wrong, but I see no reason to return to this...

We were hungry and this is the first place we saw with menus outside: “Why not?” We thought. There were two people sitting in here.

Service was terrible. My quesadillas were supposed to come with beans but the beans never arrived.

They didn’t come check on us or ask if we wanted more mineral water or lemonade.
