If you’re in Huatulco, 7 Tavoli is an absolute must. This restaurant delivers an unforgettable dining experience, combining exceptional food, impeccable service, and a warm, inviting ambiance. I really mean it with this review. I normally don’t write them, but compelled to do so.
The waiter deserves special mention—he was phenomenal. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he managed our party of nine with ease and professionalism, ensuring every need was met seamlessly. He knew the menu inside and out and I assume he even prepared some of the ingredients himself that afternoon.
The star here is undoubtedly the food. With a focus on homemade, locally sourced ingredients from both sea and land, every dish is a masterpiece. Having visited Italy before, I can confidently say this is as close to authentic Italian cuisine as you can get without crossing the Atlantic.
We enjoyed a variety of dishes: • Drinks to start the evening perfectly. Aperol spritz was fantastic. • Bruschetta and burrata that were fresh and flavorful. • Shrimp lasagna that was rich and layered perfectly. So tasty! • Linguini with pistachio cream sauce and shrimp—my mom ate her whole dish, she never does that! • Beef ravioli cooked to perfection. • Margherita pizza and pepperoni and cheese pizza, both with perfectly crisp crusts and balanced toppings. So much flavour. • For dessert, the apple tart was subtly sweetened, and the tiramisu was the freshest and creamiest I’ve ever had. My son kept stealing it from me. It was his first time ever liking tiramisu.
Everything about this meal was a 5/5. I would come back to Huatulco just to dine here again. Whether you’re a foodie or just love great dining, 7 Tavoli should be at the top of your list. Highly recommended! Friends of our told us to try this place. I’m...
Read moreI’ll start with a story about when in Rome we were in the Jewish Ghetto looking for supper….the skies opened and we were running to find shelter from the rain…. We were called from a small doorway to come in for shelter from an older gentleman. Turns out to be a restaurant run by an older couple with three or four tables, red checker cloths, old empty wine bottles with candles burning….. Well it was our best meal in Rome….fresh, simple, but above all we were made to feel like family…. Which brings me to this review…. Fresh made pasta… Good selection of wines… Authentic Italian food….. BUT most importantly the service and how they make you feel you have come to their home to have a meal with friends! Giovanni is amazing…..he truly is welcoming and caring….excellent knowledge of the food they serve and quick to recommend and explain the excellent choices you have to make….Do not miss the chance to eat here…you will return more than once…. Because you will feel...
Read moreWhat a great experience. To be fair I wasn’t sure how it would go. Their social media presence is a little lacking. We were referred by someone we met on the beach so we stuck with it. Happy we did. To start we had the crostini and calamari. For our mains we shared pasta a olio, lasagna, and truffle ravioli. All plates knocked it out of the park. If I was giving unsolicited advice I’d say brown the garlic in the pasta a little more but they are the pros. Dessert was chocolate mousse and tiramisu. tiramisu is the star of the reviews I’ve seen but the mousse was my favourite. The wine was fantastic as well.
The service was the start of the show. Everyone helped out. I feel like we made 4 new friends. I can’t say enough about it.
