Simple — Restaurant in Oaxaca

Delicious food and warm, friendly service. Our family of four popped in and ordered two sandwiches, the Cuban and the chicken Buffalo burger, along with the chicken tenders with potatoes for our twins to share. Everything was muy delicioso! The chicken tenders had the flakiest, crispiest coating and my Cuban sammie was chockfull of meat and delicious flavours. My husband couldn’t stop gushing about his Buffalo chicken burger. He said his only regret is not ordering it earlier in our trip. Our sincerest compliments to the chef: tu comida es excepcional.

The Oreo and chocolate bar cheesecakes and banana bread they had that day also looked wonderfully tasty. Next time!

Simple is located in Santa Cruz, about a block away from the main park/square. There is covered outdoor and indoor seating. They also have freezer items you can take and bake at home such as lasagna (chicken & spinach, bolognese and vegetarian), soups and pasta sauces. There were also loads of bread and various sized buns available to purchase.

In addition, they sell home goods as seen in the picture. Unfortunately no pics of the food as we scarfed it all...

I LOVE this restaurant! Maria is working to create something really exceptional here. Great sandwiches, great breads, great deserts, great foods to take away (lasagna, chipotle dip, lentil soup, different types of fish). I have not had one item I was disappointed in (the shredded pickled beets instead of saurkraut on the Rueben is genius!!). Great ideas, great food!

This restaurant is exceptional at a pretty good price point. I cheer Maria and her staff every time I visit. If you haven't tried Simple, please do. These are the kinds of businesses we want to prosper in Huatulco!. Viva...

Quick stop in while meandering town. Great place this Huatulco.

Well stopped in and got the crispy chicken burger Buffalo sauce. Chicken was thick and juicy, sauce on the mild side of Buffalo but I didn't ask for any hotter. Chicken was excellent, the crispy batter was consistent in its application around the meat. Just the right amount of flake. Couldn't say about the batter seasoning as the Buffalo sauce would certainly over power modest salt and pepper if that's in there.

Great taste and value. Hope to return...
