Cafeteria ROCO'S — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

One of the best places for having breakfast or a meal in between in Playa! I literally come here every day. Great selection of high quality, tasty dishes at a reasonable price (which is rare on 5av) and really lovely people with a can-do attitude working here. Even late at night at around 10pm they'll still prep you a tasty Caprese Baguette with a smile. And should you order something extra, they are transparent about any surcharges...unlike so many other places in playa, where you suddenly end up with an additional 50mx or so on your bill just for a spoonful of extra granola. We came across this place next to our hotel on the first day and it was SO GOOD we came back every day for the rest of our vacation! We tried a variety of food menu items, all delicious. The coffee was always made well and tasted great. They also have a variety of snacks/bottled drinks that are great to take om the go before a long day of exploring, and super fair pricing! The seating area both indoors and outdoors was very cute and cozy. Beautiful and clean. The women who took our orders were very kind, friendly, and attentive, and had our coffee order memorized after 2 days. I wish I could pack this place up and take it...

This place is a little gem!

Saw it on my morning run & needed a place to work from with decent internet for the morning.

The wifi here is GREAT, I work in software and it managed to handle me running different platforms.

They have alternative milks & do great sized coffee! (Coffee is VERY strong- they also have Decaf)

I am currently eating vegan & they did a modified corn tortilla for me which was so sweet of them.

Nice & quiet with great ventilation in this heat.
