Wow, what a terrible experience with the rude, ignorant, and obnoxious host. I am a retired police officer with PTSD and require the assistance of my certified service dog, Arizona, a 12-pound Boston Terrier. Today, we were at Faces, having reserved a table for eight. The male at the door refused to let me bring my service dog inside. I explained that I have her certification and that we've been living in Mexico for a month. I also told him that every grocery store, restaurant, and store we’ve visited here has allowed her to enter with her ID card. Arizona wears a labeled vest that clearly states she is a service dog on both sides. The older woman at the door attempted to claim it was against the health code, which is completely false. Both staff members—who were not Mexican but white—showed zero understanding or respect for the law. I informed them that the law allows Arizona to accompany me, but the male staff member rudely responded, "I don't care, my law says you aren't coming in." We left and went to Alamedia instead, where we spent 5,000 pesos. Not only did they welcome her, but they also brought water for her dish without hesitation. I challenge you to boycott Faces for their blatant discrimination and disregard for PTSD and service dog laws. No business should be allowed to mistreat people with disabilities like this.

Sunday afternoon darts on four boards. The best way to spend time with old friends and new friends. This was definitely an English speaking group. The owners speak English, menu in English what else could you ask for on a Sunday. The food was very good, I had ribs and fries my wife had hamburger with fries. Our friends had takeout chicken salad after the dart game. There are dance nights and a live band during the week. It is best to call for open hours. The room is very large with lots of seats. The cerveza started at 20$p per bottle, not bad at all. Our friends had been praising the bar for a few years and we finally made it out with them for the afternoon. The washrooms are clean and complete. We will return for sure. Enjoy.

Christmas Day dinner 2024 ! What a great meal this was. A very full big plate of all the trimmings. Light and dark turkey meat. Just like back home in Canada ( minus the Brussel sprouts thank goodness haha). Yummy desserts included. And of course some wine ( extra cost). Reservations are highly recommended for this special night. Also great instrumental guitarists playing on the stage. Thanks for a great evening out !

Visited Faces for my first time this Sunday. The place is huge inside! Great vibe and textures through out. Absolutely one of the cleanest places I have been to on/at the beach. Even though it was a crowded house the noise levels seemed to stay quiet and the ambience was not affected. My soup and salad was excellent. The dressing for my salad was a sweet vinaigrette that made me smile. The waitstaff was elegant courteous and helpful. While I played darts this afternoon they followed me around and kept track of my food and beverages. I will definitely visit again. I would also highly recommend stopping in to see what they are all about. If you are looking for English you will find it inside here. The clientele were predominantly snowbirds. Every single person here was happy and kind. A refreshing kind of crowd. Thanks for a great afternoon. My next visit will be four...
