Absolutely loved this place! Everything about it from the atmosphere, the owners, the service, the drinks and of course the food!

We had the Jamaica juice, orange juice, green juice and the coffee with some milk. All were delicious! I didn’t think I would like the coffee as I expected a latte but it was the best I’ve had all trip!! I’m going to miss it once we leave… For food, we had the Gordita’s which were sooo good! We tried the flautitas and they were good. I don’t think we like that dish in general much. We had the enchiladas verde, chilaquiles verde, enchiladas mole. All were soo delicious. The mole was special. And the chilaquiles hit the spot. It’s my favorite dish. The place is so cozy and decorated very beautifully. The people are so happy and friendly and even the customers coming in were super friendly.

We were visiting Progresso and heard this was a fabulous breakfast experience. It was so much better than that! The owners are incredible humans who love to serve through their food.

They are building their residence upstairs. They have expanded the building every year since they opened, and as word about their food has spread.

We went twice while in Progresso and each experience was awesome. Traditional Mexico City style with a few twists. Everything is made from scratch. Patience is a must, but 100% worth it!

Lovely and welcoming with delicious , fresh, authentic Mexican hot breakfast made at the time. The traditional coffee with cinnamon and sugarcane is a must try.
