Stumbled upon this place on accident! I was supposed to be going elsewhere but I'm glad I found it. It's very fancy inside, but people were dressed from very casual (jeans) to business suits. The waiters are bilingual, and are kind and patient enough to allow you to practice your Español. I think you're supposed to make reservations, but I lucked up and got a well positioned table solo.
Their red wine are very rich and buzzy; the complimentary bread is also a nice touch and is actually very delicious. I was craving alfredo, but did not find it on the menu, so I dined on the bolognese con spaghetti instead. Interestingly, the bolognese dish didn't have very much bolognese sauce at all 🤯 but it was well seasoned and tasty. It was enough for 2 portions, so I took some food home. I finished it off with the Tiramisu, which I ate in one sitting. ¡Muy rico! I was well attended to as a solo diner, which I really appreciate. This is a great place for couples, friends and large families, vibrant and lush atmosphere and quick service. I walked, but there is valet parking available....
Read moreI'm going to tell you a story about why I give this place 5 stars: There were a few minor things that I would normally knock a star off for; our pasta dish had a fantastic sauce but it was very noticeable that the pasta was made from store-bought dry pasta, we sat for a while before someone gave us a menu, the vitello tonatto didn't have capers in the sauce which subsequently lacked acidity etc. HOWEVER I don't feel that any of this actually dampened the experience overall. This finishes an epoch for us of trawling around the restaurants of Queretaro (I thought we were researching/too lazy to cook) turns out we were looking for a place to get engaged, the thing is, every time the food had an issue or something about the place just wasn't right. This place out of all of QRO was finally the right place for two foodies to...

We were driving around and accidentaly saw this place. So we decided to stop there.
The place was nice, comfortable. Amazing architecture with stone walls and ambience is fulfill with amazing plants all over and nice lighting in the restaurant.
Food was BEYOOOND exceptional, excellent service. We asked for fettuccine with black truffle and I could describe it only with carless whisper from George Michael as a background.
We tried the oysters, octopus sashimi, fussily, salad, and when we thought we were full, we asked for porcini Risotto 🤤, best idea ever.
And as a dessert the apple tart.
Really astonishing place. We'll be back for sure…
The pricing is good for the quality and the whole experience there.
Nice place for having dates, going with family and friends, and also for...
