Coco Café at Secrets in Cancun is the kind of spot you stumble into half awake and leave grinning like you just pulled off a small miracle. Coffee can be an afterthought at resorts but here it is treated with respect.

I tried the latte the cappuccino and the americano and each one had its own personality. The latte was smooth and comforting the cappuccino had that perfect bite of espresso under a cloud of foam and the americano was clean bold and unapologetic. Nothing burnt nothing bitter just good honest coffee made by people who know what they are doing.

The vibe is easy you drift in for a pick me up and end up hanging around longer than you planned. Service is warm but unpretentious the kind that makes you feel like a regular even though you are just passing through.
