My wife and I went on our honeymoon at the Etereo resort and we ate at Itzam multiple times. The food was amazing. They brought out little surprise bites and drinks for us to try throughout our stay and the quality of the food was fantastic as well. The best thing about the restaurant, however, was the staff. They were so kind and quick to meet our every need. It felt like they genuinely were excited for us to be there. Sandra and Victor were particularly kind. We saw them multiple times throughout our stay and they would come up and greet us even if they weren’t our server. They asked how we were doing and what we enjoyed about our day at the resort! They went above and beyond. Additionally, every time we were being seated they confirmed that I had a nut allergy and that my wife had a gluten free preference.
