X'mirnas Café Town — Restaurant in Quintana Roo

I have been patronizing Xminnas Cafe Town for over 5 weeks now - several times a week.

I find that they not only have the best coffee in town, but that they serve a very good breakfast for a very inexpensive price.

There is excellent outdoor seating, with great people-watching in this charming pueblo.

Myrna, the owner of the cafe, is charming and smart and fun - a lovely person to do business with.

David, who sometimes cooks and other times helps in a variety of ways - besides also being a regular customer - is a really great guy who also offers snorkeling and dive classes at the beach. I have been lucky enough to take a snorkel class with him - and have another one scheduled tomorrow.

Guadalupe, the primary morning cook and server, is a lovely woman and a wonderful cook. Even though her primary language is Spanish, we are having better conversations every day.

Rodrigo and Alicia, who work in the evenings, are very lovely young people and primarily dispense pizza, which I enjoy tremendously. The servings are extremely generous for the price.

The Wi-Fi also is extremely strong and does a great job of uploading videos to YouTube, which a less powerful Wi-Fi cannot do.

The restaurant is very conveniently located as you come up the hill into the pueblo from the big highway. It is clearly patronized by people from the resorts and residences along the beach, as well as people from the pueblo.

All the staff here are obviously very well liked by the people from the pueblo, who know them well.

I can't express how happy we were when we found this restaurant. Best restaurant in akumal town. We came with family and friends, ordered pizzas and pasta! Yes! If you are thinking Italian food yes! That is what they serve here... even that is not what they called. They also serve some mexican dishes and breakfast. Very affordable prices. Unfortunately we found this restaurant in our last week in akumal, so we only visited twice. The owner is very friendly and attentive. He goes on and beyond on costumer service. The place is small but cozy. Xminnas Cafe is a restaurant you don't want to miss in...

This place is such a gem! Yes it looks simple and this might make you weary but they got the best Pizzas I've tried in all of Mexico.

The service is very personal and super friendly, they got a cat and a dog sitting around all the time, now they told me these are from the streets and that they adopted them which is such a cute story!
