La Catrina — Restaurant in San Martín de las Pirámides

Please do not eat eat there. Food is not real mexican food and it comes with french fries. Ordered fajitas and it came cold, with melted cheese and french fries. Took a tour and saw all plates with french fries. It did not have any flavor , had to add salt to everything to eat it. Also ordered the rabbit. It was dry and lack taste. Salad it was terrible. Very dissatisfied and disappointed that the tour took us there. Service good but if you are hungry can’t eat service.

Tourist trap & overpriced. Came here from a tour but wouldn't come here voluntarily.

Also, I got really bad food poisoning from this place, so I would not recommend eating the salsa. They probably just leave it out on the table and reuse it instead of placing it in the fridge to keep it fresh. I'm Mexican, so I love and know my salsa. I know for a fact it was not fresh. Awful. The Aztec soup tasted like it came out of a can with bland sides and the chicken fajitas was soggy and had no taste whatsoever. Probably prepared early in the morning or thawed in the microwave. A mariachi playing band forces itself upon you whether you like it or not and gives you an attitude when you won’t give them money for a service you did not ask for. To add insult to injury, the food was crazy expensive. Why anyone would eat here voluntarily is beyond...
