Anchored our sailboat in the bay here. The folks at La Caleta have been kinda and gracious to help some gringos with errands: like getting a friend to the airport, getting diesel, leaving a dinghy for a bit…. That’s the icing on the cake and so not necessary.

Every day we’ve been here, we’ve loved the music- happy, dancy, Mexican music and pop by a live dj.

Drinks are tasty.

Food is normal beach fare but cooked nicely. The coconut shrimp I’ve returned to a few times.

It’s like a beach party with friends you didn’t know you had.

We were very disappointed! Went as an excursion with Holland America. We have done the Stone Island excursion before and loved it but this time they moved it. All you can drink means after 1 hour of being there, running out of all beer over 3.0 alcohol content. Watered down drinks were horrible. Wife and I got stung by the mass of bee's flying around the place. The so called ocean view was a farce slap in the face.. The medic did do a great job getting meds to my wife for the bee...
