How to put this in words.. this is the BEST Italian cuisine in Sinaloa. By far. The ambience in this charming high ceiling palace is alike to that the sacre coeur, simple, rustic, but you’ll find yourself whisked away by the charm. Remove yourself from the beach and place yourself in Rome, the homemade sauce and handmade pasta will blow you away. I can’t tell if the meats are imported but they leave the impression. Rich in flavor from the pizza and pastas, as well as extremely soft bread, I thought I was in heaven. As a hometown New Yorker, and someone who’s lived in Europe for a number of years, I Can without a doubt recommend the food here. As well the service, Chef Miguel came and left insight from the start of their time here to each detail asked on the meal. Nice ambience with terrific sax player. Terrible food and service. Entre choice ( octopus and shrimp) not available after placing order; rather ambivalent waiter suggested the chicken and pasta entre; after waiting half an hour, an unappetizing dish arrived with 2 overcooked, chewy, thin chicken breasts on top of a small portion of spaghetti with a sauce that appeared to be tomato juice, not a traditional marinara. Tasteless, lacking saesoning. Also, our table had not been properly set- missing napkins and knives. When I asked our waiter for napkins, he brought us paper nakins despite there being a pile of black cloth napkins on the counter. Pizza was run of the mill brick oven pizza. They had a pasta carnaval so all the dishes I ordered were covered under one price. The wine was two for one. The shaken carajillo was right on. I had two attentive waiters. Since the special included three dishes they brought them all at once. So I had them take the pasta back while I finished the rich ministrone with chunky pieces of calabacita. Then they brought the first pasta dish nice and hot. After that the lasagna which was delicious and what I originally came for. I wasn't in a hurry so it was a nice liesurely meal and it was early so there was no crowd altho lots of reserved tables.
