We’ve passed “La Chingada” a few times on our way to a local supermarket. The name certainly makes you wonder and take a second look not only about the place but the food they also serve. What is “La Chingada”? Depends on how you use it. Translate it could mean “go to hell” or “what the hell do you want”. It also has another meaning….try this….on one hand use your index finger and your thumb and make a circle with both fingers, then on the other hand place the index finger from that hand into the circle you made. I think the name is what draws folks to eat there more than the...
Read moreLa Chingada Tacos de Guisados is a must-visit! They make both flour and corn tortillas by hand right there where you can see them—fresh and delicious. I had the quesadillas, and they were amazing, and the agua de Jamaica was so refreshing.
My husband tried the adobada and cabeza tacos and says they were absolutely delicious. It’s located right by the Super Ley market, and I can already tell this is going to be one of our favorite stops in Rocky Point.
Eat like the locals....
