This was a very pleasant surprise to find near the border area in Nogales. The cafe is so cute, with antique style decor. It had a very nice atmosphere, and good music. The prices are slightly high for Mexico, but in this case it is worth it. The food was delicious, fresh, and made our stomachs very happy. If not for the fact that I got beans with my food instead of rice, we were brought a tasteless pico (Ithink because we are gringos), and the waitress never smiled at us once....it would be a 5 star review instead of a 4 star one. Stopped in for lunch and was unexpectedly surprised.

The service could not have been better. Jesus, the owner, anticipated our every need and met all of our requests.

We decided on sharing a molcajete for 2. What a delightful combination of chicken beef and shrimp in a tasty green salsa.

I'm usually not an appetizer person but the Torito was worth every centavo! Peppers stuffed with shrimp. I would get it again and again.

I believe this is a place where it's not been rated well because of the appearance being little old and from outside doesn't show as bright. however this place seems to be antique inside in nature also with decor. Now the food is impressive. I got Camarones Rancheros. Shrimp were large ones with many and got 4 flour tortillas with salad and avocado slices.
