During our visit, my companion Barbara Lounsbury and I had the pleasure of trying a selection of their best dishes. From a 7 seas soup, brimming with fresh vegetables and juicy seafood, to a delicious fried fish accompanied by rice and pico de gallo, and not forgetting a shrimp aguachile with chiltepín and cucumbers that awakened our senses with its freshness and balanced spiciness. Each bite was infused with the distinctive seasoning of Mariscos El Meño, a truly unique flavor. But what really sets this place apart is its impeccable service. Meño, Beth, and their team are dedicated to providing an exceptional experience to every diner who walks through their doors. We had such a great experience at Meños! The restaurant was very clean, with excellent service from start to finish. We went on a Saturday around 4 PM and were pleasantly surprised by live music—a sweet little boy with a beautiful voice sang mariachi and later switched it up with some cumbias and other fun songs. It made the atmosphere really special.

I was torn between ordering camarones al mojo de ajo and pescado frito, and the server was kind enough to combine both for me—I ended up with a delicious pescado dorado con camarones al mojo de ajo. So good! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The drinks were great, and prices were very fair.

We also had our small dog with us and asked for a favor—and they kindly accommodated us, which made the experience even better. Definitely recommend Meños for tasty food, good vibes, and genuinely kind service!

Wow! This was the most extraordinary restaurant. The food and staff were over the top awesome! The seafood was so fresh - I don’t think that I’ll ever be able to have another seafood meal in the United States that comes compares! I went there on the first day of a vacation and got shrimp ceviche, cold. It had so much flavor that I didn’t even think to add any spice. The taste was perfect. I also had a takeout order of the 7 seas soup. Again, amazing! The next afternoon we looking for dinner. After driving g around the town we decided to go to Mariscos El Meño and try something different. This time I ordered the spicy fish fillet “ ma la Diabla”. It came with the best spicy sauce that I have ever had- any I have had a ton! It had quite a kick with an even more amazing flavor. The third day I had the best empeñadas ever- stingray and shrimp! Again the sauce was amazing. It would be an understatement to say that the owners of the restaurant went above and beyond to make our stay in Puerto Peñasco...
