Rosy's Restaurant — Restaurant in Sonora

Today I have had the worst service in my life. The food in this restaurant is highly recommended, there is no doubt about that. They have taken 15 minutes to take the order, that was not the problem, but two tables arrived later than us and they were served before, for fifty minutes we asked about our order, and they did not come back to give us an answer or offer us something else, despite the fact the place began to empty. A lady sitting at a next table, "the owner", has asked us what was happening, I have explained her it had been already more than half hour waiting and other tables were already served even when we ordered before them, to which she madly replied: "Here the service takes its time and you must wait, we have nothing pre-made because our food is quality", I told her hat the service she was providing was unacceptable, and she said, "I don't care, I am not serving, I'm the owner". We asked for the bill immediately, and after 5 minutes they came out with the dishes, 50 minutes after ordering. We calmed down and began eating but, the lady, "the owner", began talking with a man indicating that many people don't have the culture of going to restaurants and they should wait to obtain the service, and if they don't like it, they must stop going there, she said "a client does not make a difference to them because they receive many clients", so she was speaking for about 10 minutes against us, in a very loud tone until she left. It was very uncomfortable that we couldn't even eat, so we asked for the bill. Some employees have approached to apologize for what happened and have told us that the account was free, that what happened was unacceptable. My comment is not against the employees, but against the owner, who is a despot, rude and does not value her customers. When I started my complaint she immediately turned against us and attacked. Today they have lost four customers and I'm sure I will never consume again in this place that I used to like, the expression of the owner "a customer does not matter because she has more" truly offended me. My family owns a restaurant in the town and customer service is everything, you can have great food, but if your service is bad, it destroys everything you have achieved. Sunday at about 10:45 AM. This place caters more to larger parties than a party of 2 like my boyfriend and myself. We were seated in about 15 minutes at a still slightly dirty table and by the door where kids and people bump into you constantly. After being seated, we waited about a half hour for a waitress to take our drink and food order. Eventually after quite some more time, Rosy asked about our drinks of coffee and water and we got them after some more time plus chips and spicy salsa. I was then delivered silverware while my boyfriend was missed and I had to ask for him. After the drinks were delivered though, service became better and better, especially after our food was delivered. I got the Chiles Rellenos con Camarón y Queso while my boyfriend got the Huevos Rancheros con Carne Asada. Both of our meals were tasty, definitely plenty of sauce! Served with beans and flour tortillas. We left at 12:40 PM.

All in all, disorganized service, everyone trying to do everything, with a need for direction or rather just a plan for busy times with tasty, economically-priced food. Plan on being there a while with eventual...

Horrible experience, Wait time was understandable (45 m) ordering our breakfast for 2 adults and a child and getting served an hour and 30 minutes later was ridiculous and the breakfast rush had already died down. Staff was not attentive at all, asked for drink refills and had to remind them 3 times. There was about 4 other large families complaining about how rude and bad service we were all receiving. And the worst part was that the food was not that great... staff was very rude, they made various comments amongst themselves and called my husband names since he is an American with a Mexican/American wife and mixed child. Very stressful energy. We tried to not think about the situation as much while we waited but when you have a hangry husband and child, nothing helps....we just stayed hoping we got our food soon. I talked management, all she said was sorry. I wish the owner reads the reviews, having a successful business no matter where it is should always keep customers happy and show them reapect.
