Tequila's Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Sonora

We ate at Tequilas on a Wednesday, early evening. It was very quiet, we being the only table occupied. However there were several people in the bar. Things dont get busy here til later in the evening so lack of patrons is not a concern, made for a quiet evening. The restaurant is rather dark inside.

I ordered enchilada de pollo. Portion was good size but rather bland. The margarita was good. I give our server a 5, spoke good English, very friendly and served us promptly.

Prices are reasonably. Have eaten here before and will do so...

Please AVOID this place at all cost. American friends they don’t know good service. Waiter served won’t plate then complained to us telling us that we were wrong. They don’t know customer service. I ordered a Ribeye medium rare. First was a sirloin steak. Completely wrong order and was cooked well done. This place is completely dead for dinner time. Do not come here. Save your money! Totally outstanding food! We had the Jonny’s burger (amazing with equally good fries), bistec ranchera, and the garlic shrimp. Cesar, the owner served us himself and he’s totally wonderful. Great sense of humor.you must go here!! Margaritas are also...
