The truth is our expectations were maybe lined up more with the view that we hoped this place had to offer, and quite frankly, the view of the lake is partial at best in respect to what the full lake can offer, but you do still have an aerial view of parts of the town that are also very pintoresque, Cathedral towers are in view and you do get an amazing sunset view from here, so I think that just based on the fact that we very distinctly wanted to see the lake and did not see as much of it as we thought we would it might’ve been the only setback in expectations, but the staff was attentive. The food is very casual but done right. We ordered a plate of and enfrijoladas for our son and mom and dad could not help themselves to keep on forking into our own mouth - comfort food done right, good vibes, chill casual atmosphere, and great.

Venimos a festejar Año Nuevo, hace fácil un mes reservamos menú y todo, llegamos ( el lugar bien ) pero de entrada fallando, el mesero no sabía ni que era un simple gin tonic, se veía novato y no tenía idea de que iba a servir. Ok dices, no hagas pancho es Año Nuevo jaja pero Se tardaron hoooooooras en empezar a servirnos la cena, que conste que previamente ya habíamos reservado menú (porque manejaban 2 opciones y una variante dentro de una de ellas) y nos pidieron que eligiéramos menú como desde el 10 de dicimebre, no era como que fueran a preparar a la carta. Ya cuando por fin se acercaron para ver qué menús eran, ya no tenían entrada de una de las opciones elegidas (mal porque reservamos con muchiiiiiisisima anticipación) en fin, nos trajeron sacada de la manga una entrada rara que era mitad lo que tenía que ser, y mitad quien sabe, pero continúas con la “buena cara” y tratas de entender pero es que se juntan varias… mi plato venía como si se hubiera volteado porque una acompañante pidió igual y tenía puré de aguacate bien servido y ordenado y el mío estaba embarrado de aguacate, literal como si el plato se hubiera ladeado y caído la guarnición. Lo tuve que cambiar. Seguimos: el siguiente tiempo era crema de almeja, llegó fría y luego; antes pues vimos cómo iban sirviendo en una mesa de junto el plato fuerte que entre las opciones era rack de cordero -el que yo elegí- y eran dos piezas suficientes con su guarnición de puré de camote y montadas como en altura, cuando me toca que me sirvan, mi rack de cordero era más flaco (obvio el emplatado ya no era con altura porque esa flaquencia jamás la ibas a parar) se ve clarisisisisismo que de una porción sacaron dos, y traía un puré de papa de cajita (porque el sabor es inconfundible), es decir, nuevamente improvisando, se les acabo la comida y eso es falta total de administración porque no me cobraron menos verdad? Y ya miren, para acabarla, el postre se supone que era creme brulee de chocolate y me traen un pastel de chocolate más desalmado y reseco (y comprado seguramente) …. Que tuvimos que pedir el de la otra “opción” que estaba horrible de sabor, también no era lo que debía ser y se notaba comprado…. Si recibieron más personas de las reservadas debieron decirles a esas personas que ya no había menú y ofrecerles opiniones alternas a ellas, pero RESPETAS los menús ya reservados con un mes de anticipación. No cobraron un peso para que nos hagan eso… y se atrevieron a querer pedir el 15% de propina….. CERO POR CIENTO DE...

Twice in the last week I've gone here and sat for 15-20 minutes without service. The first time it happened my girlfriend and I got up and left with nothing on the table. The second time I got up and found a waiter and politely asked if someone would come take our order. Then I watched two waiters come and service the other 4 tables around ours and not stop by ours. I used to really like this place, the food is good, nice ambiance but now I've got a bad taste in my mouth and I'm not sure I want to try a third time... (looking at the other reviews and noting that most include "good service", I used to feel the same way, but the last two visits were terrible.
