Home-style food with menu changing daily based on availability of fresh ingredients. Extremely friendly service. You may have to wait a bit longer for your food than other places due to the family nature (i.e., not corporate) of the operation, but it's worth the wait. We shared pitchers of fresh piña water and guayaba water and were served complimentary bolillo bread with homemade butter and grilled sweet chipotle peppers. I had an invigorating soup of flor de calabaza with hongos, following by succulent arrachera served on grilled nopal with onions and salad. Complementary homemade butter cookies arrived at the end of the meal. Does not accept...

Referred to us by local while visiting Valle de Bravo. The family running this is so wonderful! We didn’t realize there is a menu that changes daily so when we asked if they had tacos they made them for us and it was great but I’m sure ordering from daily menu is even better as you can choose a soup to start then main. We did have great fresh made margaritas and you must try the butter cookies! Also had the best membrillo I’ve ever had! They were very gracious with our limited Spanish speaking. This is a...

BEST TORTILLA SOUP BEST SKIRT STEAK BEST SERVICE

Took a group of 12 of us to this place, they kindly accommodated our large group. Like previous reviewers have noticed, it is a family run operation with daily rotating menu. The waiter/ owner (?) was incredibly kind and helpful, I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience and each dish was PERFECT. Many people said it was the best food they have had in Valle. Please go support this amazing local spot. THANK YOU for...

This place is hard to find but well worth the search. Real, I mean real authentic Mexican food. The sopa Azteca is to die for and the agua de tea de limon is REALLY good. It is a small local family owned fonda (restaurant) AND I forgot to mention the purpose (octopus) is excellent!!!
