A lovely beach bar located on an amazing beach, with beautiful sunset! On our day trip to Celestun, we found here everything we needed: parking in the shade, great food and drinks, margaritas and pina coladas, all very reasonably priced, and a quick, attentive service by Miguel and Jose Luis. Thank you for the best meal we’ve had since we’ve been in Mexico. The area we are staying in (Progreso) has not provided the food we were hoping for - the Mexican food we love. Today’s lunch was excellent. Chicken has never tasted so good (grilled and fried)! Even the French fries were perfect! Shrimp were perfectly cooked, fish fillet was tasty (a few bones missed) but “meaty”. Flavours were exceptional.

The restaurant is in a beautiful beach location - great food, service, and atmosphere. Everything was perfect. Until I asked to use the restroom. They led me somewhere outside the restaurant area, and to my shock, there was no flushing. Even worse, the ladies there asked me to use a ladle to “flush” manually. Insane!
