Sushi Central Sky Work Merida — Restaurant in Yucatán

I’ve been to this restaurant about 4 different times. The first two times were better than the last two times. They are very attentive and they remake things when they mess up. It would be preferable for them not to mess up multiple dishes though. The drinks aren’t consistent which is a little disappointing. Sometimes they taste perfect and sometimes they taste a little week. They also recently changed their signature drink and it doesn’t taste as good unfortunately. This place is to sushi what taco bell is to Mexican food. The men washroom was clogged and very smelly. There is a trash can placed in the middle of the dining room, and when they empty it, it smells and make very lousy sounds next to where you are eating. The Nigiri is really expensive, 10CAD a piece. The flavour of the protein is not bad, but the size is too large to fit in the rice. The rice is impossible to hold with chop sticks as it falls apart. For the price you pay here, I was expecting real sushi with excellent service. While Merida has only a couple of good places to eat sushi, this is not...

Nos encanta la comida de aquí, eso indiscutible. PERO TERRIBLE LA EXPERIENCIA DE HOY (junio 30 8:30pm). Para empezar nos sentamos afuera y la mesera (que estaba en otra sucursal y justo no regresamos ahí porque fue súper grosera) nos dijo que había mucho mosco, le preguntamos que si era posible si nos picaban mucho, pasarnos después, y nos respondió “pues si piden mucho, no” y me saqué de onda y le dije, cómo? no podemos meter nosotras nuestros platos? me volteó la cara, me dijo que sí y azotó los menús en la mesa, y después la puerta. Salió un mesero con una jeta espantosa, nos tomó la orden nos sentimos súper incómodas y le comentamos que sería para llevar. Decidimos pasarnos para esperar y el mesero nos dijo “mucho mosco”? la verdad yo creyendo que fue un comentario genuino, pero al momento de responderle “sii” nos dimos cuenta de que fue súper sarcástico. Lo peor es que después de un rato le hablo a un mesero (el mismo), y me dice “ahorita”. Nunca llegó su ahorita y solo le comenta a una persona “sí, es para llevar” y hasta después se acerca una señora con una comanda a tomarnos la orden ??? habíamos pedido uno de los rollos con cambio a tofu y la señora preguntándome que si el tofu era queso 🙃 le preguntamos que si no se había hecho nuestra orden y nos dijo que no, que apenas ella la estaba tomando. O sea??? Sí, íbamos a dejar propina. Al final decidimos retirarnos, no sin antes comentarle la situación al gerente y el súper amable, pero hasta ahí quedó. Espero de verdad que presten más atención a esos pequeños ENORMES detalles que les harán perder...
