You will have a hard time to find parking lots near the restaurant. The dining area is divided by two sections with air condition and without (only fans). I ordered Prawn with Black Bean Sauce and Baby Kailan with Salted Fish. After ordering; the drink came after 2 min followed by Kailan, 8 min and Prawn 9 min respectively. The lunch crowd was not too crowded. Actually I had a purpose dining here because I want to compare the food serve here with 'HOMST', another chinese muslim restaurant competitor. It was my first time coming here. The prawn was medium size and I ordered the small portion (about five pieces). The black bean sauce was on a high side salty. As it was salty, it killed the taste. The baby kailan gravy was thinly watery and the vegetable was not so crispy. I was upset as the taste was not as delicious as I had expected comparing it to HOLMS restaurant. Read moreAn amazing restaurant with amazing staff who are polite, friendly and welcoming.
The food is amazing and quite literally (in every sense of the word) melts in your mouth and has a burst of flavours (and spices). Read moreMy experience with this restaurant was a big let down. I went there with a pax of 2 during lunch hour.
First the service was terribly slow. From ordering until payment! The waiters were slow to take order. The drinks took 30 freaking minutes to arrive! I even had to wait nearly an hour for my meals! At least send the the gyoza/dumpling first but no I had to wait nearly an hour for a simple snack! Other customers that came after me received their orders first.
The food then weren't reaching my expectations with the price points and the restaurant's reputations. The fried rice and chicken rice were subpar. Nothing extraordinary with the price I paid. Meh I would say. I can easily get better and worthy meals elsewhere.
So yeah that would be my last time at Putrajaya branch. It was an...
