While the hot pot is always a safe bet here with the spices bar, order the Khorkhog. This is a lamb stew that is cooked by placing very hot stones in the pot. It is a dish that is usually for special occasions, since it is slow cooking. It was delicious, even for locals standards.
There are also quite a few good options for vegetarians, such as the fried eggplant.
