INCONTRO BAR & FOOD — Restaurant in Kotor

I was about to give 1 star, but I had good food here before and I liked it because it is a bit far from Kotor’s busy tourist area. But this time, I sat to have a drink and ordered a fresh orange juice. It came in a glass full of ice cubes, which I felt was unfair, but I was still fine with it. However, when I drank a bit—before all the ice cubes had melted—even that small amount of orange juice was clearly diluted by water and tasted like a glass of cold water with orange flavor. I told the lady, and she said she could add more orange juice to my glass, but I really felt cheated and didn’t feel like staying. So I’m not giving 1 star because she was willing to do something about it, and I had a good experience here before.

Thank you for your positive and polite response. There’s no justification for the quality, as I tried the juice immediately before the ice had melted—and as you can see in the photo, the glass was still full of ice. So probably 10 minutes later, the juice would have turned into mostly water. I live in Montenegro and would like to come to your nice place again, so thank you for keeping the door open for me. I just recommend keeping your oranges in the fridge so the juice can be served cool in summer with a maximum of 2–3 ice cubes, or serving the ice separately, this way, your guests won’t have the same experience & feeling I did. The food here makes me emotional. I am so grateful. Please do not go past the Truffle Burger, it will be one of the best culinary experiences of your life. The truffle sauce is 👌🥲 the Capricosa Pizza is a journey in your mouth, the flavours and textures transport you into another dimension and I'm here for it. If the food wasn't enough, you should meet the phenomenonal people who run this place. They all make you feel so warm and welcome, it feels good to eat here! And the cats. Oh my gosh the cats. Emma is the owner here and her heart is made of pure gold, every cat she finds that needs help or food, she helps and feeds. The restaurant has become a sanctuary for the local cats and there are so many small acts of kindness happening here everyday, you cannot help but smile. I will miss this cafe/restaurant so dearly when I leave. The restaurant is located in a quiet part of Kotor, yet - is only a short walk from the city center and the old town.

It is a very welcoming, clean, new, modern, well decorated and cozy restaurant with indoor/outdoor tables. The food and drinks are reasonably priced with large portions and very delicious taste. If you are there, try any rakija 🥃or wine 🍷- you will love it! They also offer a home delivery so, if you are lazy, and don’t feel like going out, but want some delicious comfort food, just give them a call and the food will be delivered to your doorsteps very quickly. 🍱 🚚
